The qualitative data were obtained by conducted observations and conducted interviews with the principal, the English teacher, and the students. The data of this study were qualitative and quantitative. The participants of the research were the students of VIIIa. It involved the principal, the English teacher, and the students. This study was an action research study consisting two cycles and used qualitative and quantitative methods. The objective of this research is to improve the listening skills of the grade VIII students of SMP N 1 Bojong in the academic year of 2010/2011 by using Adobe Flash software.
